Common questions

An Incident is an automated, lightweight investigation kicked off by an alert (webhook or email). It runs the specialists once, summarizes findings, and exits. An Investigation is an interactive multi-turn session — you chat with the IC in the Portal, Slack, or Teams over hours or days. Same agents power both, but the commercial envelope differs.
Incidents are per-project, plan-tier driven (Lite / Standard / Max), and included in the agent monthly price. Investigations are per-subscription, purchased as packs (10 / 50 / 200). Long human-driven sessions can burn a lot of tokens; the pack model gives both sides predictable cost.
Bring Your Own LLM key. Configure your Anthropic API key in tenant settings and Parumox routes all LLM traffic through your key. Token costs land on your Anthropic bill; we charge a substantially lower platform/agent fee. Customers never see token math either way.
Soft cap. Operations continue uninterrupted. Project incident overages are billed at the per-incident overage rate; subscription investigation overages either bill per-investigation or auto-purchase the next pack — your choice.
